At RoadOne we are constantly working to reduce the environmental impact of our trucking fleet and at all of our warehouse locations. As an industry leader, RoadOne is always on the forefront of cutting edge technology and has partnered with several customers to introduce electric & hydrogen power units to our trucking fleet, along with the electric charging stations in order to reduce our Carbon Footprint.
Outside of our truck fleet, the majority of RoadOne warehouse facilities are operating LED lights and are equipped with electric forklifts and yard trucks. In addition to the electric forklifts, RoadOne is currently operating the only electric railcar mover in Oakland, CA that brings all of our freight into the facility by rail, and is completely power by solar energy. RoadOne is in the process of expanding the installation of solar panels and bottle-less hydration stations to select transloading facilities and service centers in order to reduce single use plastic pollution and create a closed loop circuit for our equipment.
